April looks like it’s shaping up to be News Month. Last week I told you about my heretofore super-secret James Patterson collaboration, and this week I have Camaro information. Didn’t I tell you I’d be able to say more soon?

The first tidbit is something we pretty much knew: the new Camaro will come in early 2018. However, I had originally thought it’d hit in March, but now I have a date and it’s in January! The book will appear in shops everywhere on January 11, 2018. Currently you cannot preorder, but rest assured I will tell all of you when that’s going to happen.

Given that we’re looking at that as a drop date, I’m going to tentatively schedule a little something new for Camaro fans in November or December. I have only some vague notions about what exactly what that might be, so don’t hold my feet to the fire just yet. I can say it’s likely going to be another novella, but beyond that I have a few options with which to work. And I have time, so there’s really no reason for me to make up my mind right away.

Anyway, back to Camaro #3. You may recall I’ve been calling it City of Ghosts pretty much from the beginning. However, as is usual for this industry, the working title has been ditched. I have only ever been able to use my original title once in the last seven years, so this doesn’t faze me in the slightest. But whatever the case, what was once City of Ghosts is now Make Them Sorry.

What do you think? I know a lot of people over the years have equated Camaro Espinoza with Jack Reacher, and this is probably the most Reacher-y of all the titles thus far. Thank God it’s not something as generic as Night School, though. It at least has some character. Prepare yourself for the pulse-pounding thrills ofNight School? Uh, sure, I guess.

Anyway, you now know what you’re looking forward to (Make Them Sorry), when to look forward to it (January 2018) and what it’s about (see the Camaro page). Are you excited? I’m excited.
